history of Chicago, but her effort and this page is dedicated to those who had the intestinal fortitude to clean up the city and restore its dignity. If you wish to contact Jenny for an assignment click on email icon below.

Jenny represent a flapper girl who was frequenting the local dance halls to do the "charleston" dance with the gentlemen who were there to celebrate. The Prohibition Act made the celebration difficult without alcohol. This gave rise to the underground economy of supplying illegal whiskey, known as "bootlegging". It made some people a lot of money so competition for turf was intense and corruption of some local government officials quickly followed. But not everybody embraced this life style, some resisted fiercely.

A young Chicagoan with two college degrees working for the Treasury Dept., named Elliot Ness was given a free hand to pick his own men of most trusted agents. Mr. Ness and his team of agents ruthlessly kept raiding the illegal alcohol stills and warehouses and turning them into the sewer content. All out street war broke out with casualties on both sides. The gangsters used vicious tactics, but the agents weren't to be outdone, they used wiretap and manipulated informants to spread the word about the competitive gangs igniting warfare among the gangs themeselves. Eventually Elliot Ness and his team became to be known as the "Untouchables". This was well portrayed in a TV series in the late 50's and early 60's as the "UNTOUCHABLES" , starring Robert Stack as Elliot Ness. The series made Robert Stack famous as the liberator of Chicago from the mob. Thank you to both, Mr.Ness and Mr. Stack.

A "Tommy gun" concealed in a violin case was the trademark of gangsters

It's time to show the nicer side of Jenny O, and believe me, every side of her is very nice. Enjoy!
