Glen Canyon

Glen Canyon is located in south central Utah and extends to norther Arizona, Colorado river runs through it. Just south of the Utah and Arizona stateline a dam was build for hydroelectric energy creating a Lake Powell and submerging much of the lower Glen Canyon. Now days some controversy was created by the demand for water resources. People living below the dam are asking for more water from the Colorado river and people up the dam want to keep the water in Lake Powell, so depending who wins Lake Powell may be drained or stay as it is now.
