Wild Boar

There are many varieties of wild boars in North America. Many of them are feral pigs that have bred in the wild for generations. Many ranchers set traps and catch then live only to be released on the hunting preserves. Some are hunted in the wild where farmers and ranchers consider them varmints due to their destructive habits of cattle pastures and other crops. The meat from these is surprisingly tasty, hind quarters make excellent hams almost fatter. I shot many of these in Texas, Tennessee and this one in Missouri.
